Trailblazer Update for Candidates Seeking Placement for 2020-2021
COVID-19 has required LCSD#1 to postpone Trailblazer applications for students in grades 1-6. The CDC guideline for social distancing required in the county will not allow for school psychologists to administer the WISC-V, which is necessary for candidates to be considered for the Trailblazer program. Applications may be submitted for future consideration and will be reviewed at a later date (TBD).
Applications for kindergarten students starting fall of 2020 will be accepted. A process will be put in place to safely assess incoming kindergarten students following CDC protocols and will be announced at a later date.
If you have questions or concerns regarding technology the help desk offers chat support and remote assistance.
Learning Packet Information
Packet pick-up/drop-off is every Tuesday, from 7:00 -12:00, in front of the school. There will be staff out front who will assist with the pick-up and drop-off of completed materials.
Accessing Online Learning Tools
All students have access to the online learning tools they use during the school day, including Moby Max, Think Central, Office 365, and other tools.
The easiest way for students to access these programs is through
ClassLink. Under LCSD#1 Links, click ClassLink. You may also click on the ClassLink button below. Students will log into ClassLink just as they would a district computer. If your student has any issues logging in, please contact your student's teacher.
LCSD1 Youth Feeding Program
LCSD1 Youth Feeding Program, which provides breakfast/lunch combination
bags, will continue through the duration of the district’s COVID-19
closure. Any youth, 18 years of age or younger, are eligible for food bags at any location. Pick up is being done using a walk-up or drive-through
process. Students need not be present for parents/guardians to pick up the bags. People may pick up food bags Monday-Friday at Pioneer Park – south of the school in the cul-de-sac (bus drop-off) at the end of Talbot Court.
